Court Administration
Community Services Program
This Community Services Program provides the Circuit Court and District Court judges with a viable alternative in lieu of incarceration and where qualified clients contribute unpaid services to City
worksite agencies. Over a nineteen year period 46,607 defendants have been accepted into the program and have completed 2,410,471 hours of
work
The Community Services Program provides City and State agencies, non-profit
organizations, and community associations with volunteers to assist with
projects. If your agency is planning a community project or extra
office assistance, the Program offers volunteers to assist in these
matters.
The "Top 5 Reasons to
Become A Worksite Agency" are 1) You are allowing others to contribute to
the betterment of their community, 2) You get volunteers to supplement your
workforce, 3) The Program is safe and reliable for you, 4) You save money by
accepting volunteers rather than paying someone to do the work, and 5) Just
contact our office and let us know how many volunteers you need and when you
need them; the rest is up to us.
If you are interested in becoming a Worksite
Agency, please contact Dexter Walker with your organization name, your name,
address, phone number, email, type of work needed, number of volunteers needed,
and dates needed.
